Gebhards Deli-Farm Shop
Well, we liked the buns so much...We bought the shop and now life is hectic !!!
It appears to be a bit of a secret in Morpeth that 90% of our produce is home-made and baked on the premises!!! We took over the shop on the 24th August 2009 and have never stopped since!!! A big thank you to all our customers who have taken their time to give us their feedback - we really appreciate it!! From being more or less a bakers selling pork sausage when we took over, we now sell local free-range chickens, ducks, turkeys & guinea fowl, local Game - pheasant, partrige, vennison, rabbits & hares to order.
We take fresh fish orders for next day collection from award winning fishmongers D.R. Collins of Eyemouth. Sell local lamb, pork & beef.....fillet being a popular choice. We have introduced Yellow Fields Rapeseed Oil...a healthier alternative to olive oil...produced by Selby Potts at a farm only a few miles away in Stanton, original, garlic & chilli. We also have local Christen Bank eggs...including free-range...at very competitive prices....and we've had a Pumphrey's coffee machine installed. Fancy a Cappucchino or Americano?? then step right in!! We also sell ground Pumphrey's coffee and Pumphrey's breakfast tea. Our home-made smoked bacon & lentil soup is going down a storm...£1.50 for soup & a bun or £1.90 for a large one..and we have worked on our steak & kidney & mince pies and truly believe you will think they are one of the best you have tried!! We will gradually introduce new breads including our new brown bread with mixed seeds and a pumpkin & linseed bread.
We are building on our deli range and have introduced a range of freshly prepared salads, Manchego cheese, Serrano Ham, Coppa ham, home-made quiches such as brunch & spicy sausage, home-made plate pies such as corned beef, onion & potato, lamb & vegetable samosas, chicken tikka chatt & balti chicken chatt. We have a selection of home-made cakes & cheesecakes. New home-made pies include: sausage, cheese & bean, Moroccan lamb, Cornish, peppered steak, & chicken chatt pies and we have just introduced Northumbrian Pedigree milk & cream. We also stock a range of foods, dressings & marinades from The Bay Tree Company such as Spiced Mango & Pomegranate salad dressing, and a range of our own relishes and jams. 
We can cater for any event or make life easier by helping to provide some essentials such as home-made plate pies, quiches, lasagne, cottage pies, curries, meat platters, breads, cakes...you name it just give us a call and we'll do our utmost to help.
Our wholesale business is expanding rapidly and a vac-u-pac machine and bag sealer are on order so that we can continue to grow in this area. We would like to thank our wholesale customers for their support since we took over.
